I was born and raised in Montgomery and am a graduate of Jeff Davis High School.
After attending Troy State University for two years I transferred to Jacksonville, Florida
and became a certified court stenographer.  I returned to Montgomery and was
employed in the State Court System for twenty-four years as an  Official Court
Reporter.

I was blessed to know some talented photographers who admired my amateur eye and
fueled a fire within me to develop and expand my own talents in this art form many
years ago.  Capturing the happiness of a bride and groom on their wedding day, the
smiles of new parents, the curl of a newborn's hair, those moments we cherish
became my greatest satisfaction and opportunity.

Patricia White Photography began almost twenty years ago as an expression of my
passion for photography and its place in our lives.  My enthusiasm for building lasting
memories through the lens of my camera grew, and I was fortunate to open a
full-service studio upon my retirement from the state in 1996.

I was actively involved in the Professional Photographers' Association of Montgomery
and voted President of that Association in 1995.  I've been a member of the
Professional Photographers' Association of America since 1986 and strictly adhere to
our Code of Ethics.

My photographs have been recognized with awards from numerous organizations over
the years, but what I value most is the trust my clients place in me to document their
life's memories.

Through the referrals from satisfied clients who are now counted among friends, I
have been able to pursue my passion and build lasting relationships.
